Guess who is laughing now?

I guess it's Britney, bitch...

After everyone in the world thought her career was over after her "horrible" comeback performance at this year's VMAs, Britney Spears and the power of her fans (including me) has proved everyone wrong.

Britney's new single "Gimme More" has reached the number 1 spot on iTunes in 12 countries worldwide! The song was released on Tuesday and by Wednesday it topped the chart on both Song and Ringtones download. According to overall digital sales on midweek, "Gimme More" has sold 124,396 copies on the U.S alone. It is expected that by next week the number will increase to 295,000 to top the record of biggest week sale on iTunes history ever! (which is now held by Fergie's 'Fergalicious'). Take that for a comeback!!

The song is now also located at number 18 on Mediabase Radio Spins chart and number 17 on Radio and Records weekly chart. This newfound buzz has gotten Britney to top the Yahoo! and MTV.com searchlist of Music Artists as well as People.com buzz list and Maxim.com just named her the "Babe of the Month". The "Gimme More" music video will be released very soon and the CD single will be out on sale Tuesday, October 9th.

Now, tomorrow is "Gimme More Worldwide Download Day", so if you haven't downloaded the song yet, do it now!

Life Update!

Hello kids! Wow, it has defitinely been a while. I am located now in what I believe is the most beautiful city the world has, Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico. This is the place I call home, the place I lived in for all my life and that I left when I was going to begin High School. This past few weeks have been really exciting but exhausting as well. From San Diego to Vegas, to San Diego again, to Chicago and then Canada, then back to Chicago, then Mexico City and now I'm here in Guadalajara. I'm going to try to resume a little all that happened on this past weeks.

Chicago was great. My family lives over there in a pretty little suburb north of Chicago called Carpentersville, IL. After doing the usual tourist trip on Downtown and going to a few eating hotspots (Gino's in Downtown, and Niko), we got to hang out with the family, including my grandma from my dad's side who is living there. Then we packed our bags, went on mapquest and got a map from Chicago to the Niagara Falls. My dad was kind of scared but we decided to go for it. So we rented a car and drove 10 hours to the beautiful city of Niagara Falls, Ontario. The falls are probably the most beatiful sights I have seen in my life. As my mom told me, "If there was any doubt that God existed, this is one more proof". It was breath-taking. We went on this ship that took us right on the middle of the Horseshoe Fall. It was pretty incredible for me to see on one side of the Falls Canada and on the other the United States. Then we went on to this beatiful walk down the river and on this underground expeditions through the falls. We also went to a butterfly observatory which I thought was lame, but my mom loved it.

After getting to know the city and the main attractions, my dad looked at the map and realized the city of Toronto was about an hour and a half driving from where we were, so we decided to go there and spend the night over there. Guys, Toronto is the shit. Walking through Downtown, you can see all of this different types of cultures, fashion, such an elegant and cosmopolitan city. A lot of young people going in an out of the innumerable nightclubs all over the city. Everything is full of lights and the people there seemed so interesting. Unfortunately I didn't get to see much, but I defitinely want to come back. After going to some hotels, we realized Toronto was probably the most expensive city we've been in so we decided to go outside the city and stayed in a pretty good hotel for the same price of a Motel 6 in Downtown.. ridiculous. The next morning we drove over back to Chicago but we stoped over in Detroit and Gary, Indiana, where Michael Jackson was born. But then.. we got lost, twice. First, on Indiana we took the wrong exit and ended up in a ghetto. So my mom asked me to ask a lady at a bus stop if she knew how to get back to the freeway and I was about to ask him and the bitch started fighting with another girl across the street. Oh my god, we were so scared, so we just left. I don't like ghettos, man. And the other one on Downtown Chicago on the way back. Guys, If you think driving on Downtown San Diego is stressful, you haven't seen anything yet.

Well, our last days in Chicago were good, a bit of shopping and bonding with my family over there, whom I barely see. My aunt Esmeralda offered me to live in Chicago with her If I decided to attend Northwestern University. I went there and is so freaking beautiful. And I know Kaitlin wants to go there, hehe. I don't know man, I will see. Maybe it will be a good option after my NYU hopes are just over. Okay, okay, so after two different flights and a ton of problems on the airport (which I don't want to remember anymore, but thanks mom for your exceptional packing abilities!!!) we arrived here. After 10 hours on two different planes I was super tied, but we went straight to my aunt Bertha's birthday party. And everybody got drunk. But I was asleep through all of that. On this days while I'm here, I've been to the pretty little town of Tequila where they shot that mexican soap opera that's so popular now, went to my other uncle's birthday party and yesterday I helped my cousin shoot a documentary. I got to use a steady cam (It's so fucking heavy!) and then last night I had dinner and movies with some cousins.

Now, I'm writing this in my house and I'm leaving soon. My dad just called. Oh right, so I miss you all and I'm kinda starting to get homesick for all this traveling. Hopefully I will see y'all when i get back ok? Love you all and peace out, bitches!!!

An Emotional Roller Coaster

This week has been crazy. From high highs to low lows.. and this is the lowest point yet. I failed Math Analysis (Pre-Cal) Class. I don't know how to tell my parents, I feel so ashamed. This had never happened to me before. And it happened on my senior year. How convenient. I'm angry because I know I didn't put the effort this class needed. I mean, it is super hard, but I know I could've handled it. I'm saddened because I didn't push myself as I needed it to. I'm ashamed because I'm about to go on a month-long vacation with my parents and I don't feel like I deserve it because I just failed a class.

I had built some kind of self-confidence as I went through all high school with really good grades. And then I fail Math! It's a big wake up call for me. I don't know If I'm being to harsh on me, but I can't tell you guys that things will change. I'm about to go to college and I can assure you all that my dreams of going to New York University are over. For one motherfucking class.

I don't feel good today. I have some explaining to do. But in the middle of all, let me wish happy birthday to three of my CCNMA buddies, Kaitlin, Jess and Annora whose birthdays are either today or tomorrow. And to my mom, whose birthday is tomorrow. I love you mom, more than anything in the world.. I hope you don't get mad at me, hehe..

Ok, so I'm leaving on Saturday and I'll make sure to write something before I leave. Peace Out.

I've never felt so proud..

So a lot of you guys have noticed and some of you might don't know, but I've lost a lot of weight these last months. Over 15 pounds to be exact. I just came home from shopping with my parents because my clothes literally don't fit me anymore. And I was shocked. From a size 38 in pants, I'm a 32 now. From a Large, sometimes extra large size on shirts, now I am Medium.

I don't think I've ever been a size 32 since I was like 12.. I feel really proud of myself. And my friends keep on telling me I look skinnier. If I did it, you can too.

I'll show you guys before and after pictures soon..

Back from Vegas, In for a Ride

Hey guys! I have just come back from Vegas.. it was really cool. I got to go to all of the hotels (The Bellagio, Caesar Palace and The Venetian being my favorites), eat some really good buffets, have fun with my family, and even managed to gamble a bit....at 18 years old. I also went to the VMA's hotel, The Palms and stayed outside, where I saw all of the limos and everything getting ready for the awards. Sadly, security was super strict and I couldn't get in. But then, I heard the chaos.

Everywhere in Vegas, everywhere.. "Did you see Britney's peformance?", "How bad was it!!".. I couldn't see it because I was in a buffet with my family, and they just couldn't care less for the VMAs, even though everyone in Vegas was talking about it. I cannot be more grateful that I was on vacation and I didn't hear, read or saw any of the bad comments her performance got. Until I come to the computer and read it all.

First of all, there is millions of rumors about what went wrong. And I just can say, I don't believe so. Maybe she was nervous, I mean, is the first time she performed in 4 years! And that first stage comes to be the opening of the first big-time musical award show of the year.. Imagine all that pressure!! I don't know.. It's to hard for me to explain it. But i just can say that is not fair that people criticize her figure.. They can criticize her performance but not her looks.. She is a mother of 2, it will never be the same.

I love Britney and I always will. No matter what. Now I just have to deal with everyone critizicing why do I love her.. It's unexplainable. But you know what? I don't give a fuck. Haha.. I don't.

Now, I have 3 days left in San Diego and then I leave to Chicago.. I have to go. I will try to post pictures of Vegas soon.. Love you all! BYE!
