MY FAVORITE ALBUMS OF 2007

1. AMY WINEHOUSE- BACK TO BLACK.

Hands down, the most delicious, raw, edgy and delightful album of the year. Every single song on this album is just so beautiful, Amy Winehouse's voice
is one of a kind and I admire her so much more every day that I hear this album. "Do me good", "Tears Dry on their own", "Back to Black", and the smash hit "Rehab" are only some of the wonderful songs in this album. With a big amount of Grammy nominations, I'm sure this album will get even more praises that it already has. This album has made most of the my life soundtrack this year.

2. Britney Spears- Blackout.

Move over Justin, Nelly and Gwen, Britney is back. After all of the difficult time Britney's had this last year, she still managed to put out an impecable,
sexy, innovative, and fresh dance-pop album. Every single song is so different from each other and that makes it so damn refreshing. Britney has put out
a standard on pop music and look out in 2008 for an inspiration from this album on every single dance pop artist out there. Britney is still a force to be
reckoned with. She is here to stay.

3. Paramore- Riot!

Oh, dirty little rock jewel. There was no one so hard-rockingly good than Paramore this year. There is a personal anthem for everyone in this album. Their
energy onstage and on record is amazing, and I can't wait to see what the future will bring for them. Paramore is the "It" rock band and they have earned my
respect and admiration, as well as the whole world.

4. Regina Spektor- Begin to Hope.

Ever since I heard "Fidelity", the first single of this great album, I was glued to my iPod listening to the complete album over and over again. Her voice is so compelling and kind, and her lyrics are amazing. I cannot wait to see her live next year. She is the Tori Amos of this millenium. I strongly recommend the song "Samson".

5. Peter, Bjorn and John- Writer's Block.

PB & J were my little discovery this year. I do not have an idea why they haven't made it big here in the U.S yet. They are so good and unique. Their energy
on stage is remarkable and they have changed the rock panorama for good. I hope they get the recognition they deserve next year because they have been really
underappreciated so far. Peter, Bjorn and John gave me my best concert experience this year. Rock on guys.

6. Pitbull- The Boatlift.

I know, this is soo the opposite of what I usually like, but this album is so freaking cool! Every song is a party anthem and everytime I hear this song in a club I just lose it. Pitbull is one creative motherfucker and I hope to keep on hearing more club bangers like this in the future.. Yep, I'm a fan.

7. Alicia Keys- As I Am.

Alicia Keys is gorgeous inside and out. She is extremely talented and gracious, she is like the most perfect woman in the face of the world. And her latest album is wonderful. With one of the most privileged voices in the industry, she will surely be remembered as one of the most talented people in the music world forever.

8. Belanova- Fantasia Pop.

Belanova is my pride and joy. So fresh, so groundbreaking that has made this band my favorite in spanish. Although this album did not measured up to the
standards their past albums had put through, "Fantasia Pop" is another little precious pop wonder. This band and their music always put a smile in my face,
and they make me proud of being a "tapatio" deep, deep in my heart.

9. John Mayer- Continuum.

Ok, I know this album was not released this year but it defitinely made a big part of the soundtrack of my life this 07. John Mayer is such an amazing singer
and songwriter, and he manages to convey a rainbow of different emotions throughout this album and that is what makes it so special. Personally, I have to
thank him for making "Stop this train", a song that has taught me a lot and that moved me beyond every emotion in the world. A song I can share with my
father and call it our own. Bravo, John Mayer.

10. Rihanna- Good Girl Gone Bad.

I've saying to myself for a while that Rihanna is the prototipe of a perfect pop star. And now she is. Rihanna has the image, the music, the mediatic machine
around her that has made her the number one pop star in the world. And her album is not just "Umbrella" buzz, there is a lot of solid pop, R&B tracks that
are surely to keep continuing to dominate the charts worldwide.

Special Mentions: Mika- "Life in Cartoon Motion", Augustana- "Stars and Boulevards", Zoe- "Memo Rex Commander Y El Corazon Atomico de la Via Lactea"

My favorite time of the year

Yay, Christmas is here again! My vacations here in sunny Guadalajara have been great so far. Ive been hanging out with my family, eating (A LOT) and celebrating myself. Tomorrow im spending Christmas with my family on Grandma's house and then I'm leaving for a few days to some place in Michoacan, another mexican city.

I've been talking to my mom about how amazing this year has been. And I plan to write about it soon, but today I just wanted to wish y'all a fantastic christmas and I hope you enjoy it a lot. Tomorrow a great day waits for me, that and lassagna, turkey, jam, cakes and much more... Oh gosh I do miss the Gym though..

Love you guys very much. Take care. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I'd like a piece of her!

Finally! Britney's second (for me it's first because Gimme More was bullshit) music video will premiere tomorrow! The video is on exclusive preview on people.com, and it will officialy premiere tomorrow at 10 pm. on ABC's 20/20, where they are going to profile the pop superstar and her relationship with the media. Then the video will be available to stream on Britney's official site, britney.com

The video looks pretty good! I can't wait!

UPDATE: Here is the preview for y'all! (Sorry if it's taken down soon)

I got some right..

My Grammy predictions were really good actually. Amy Winehouse got a ton, so did Kanye, and Justin and Rihanna and all of them.. No Britney by the way. It seems that Jive Records didn't even bother to send "Gimme More" to the list and "Blackout" came out after the deadline to be chosen. But I believe Miss Amy Winehouse will take the top honors. Her album is the greatest album of the year. I can't get enough of it.

So yeah.. Hopefully I will be watching. And so will you when they air on February 2008.

The Grammys are back..

and I'm one of the few people that are still watching.

The 2008 Grammy Awards nominations are being announced early Thursday morning by Linkin Park and some country chick.. which basically assured them they will be nominated. I'm a huge music lover and have been closely following the music world this year, so here are my Grammy predictions, we'll see If I get them right or not:

- AMY WINEHOUSE: Expect nods for her on the categories "Best New Artist", "Best Pop Female Vocal Performance", "Best Pop Album", "Album of the Year", and "Song of the Year". Her album "Back to Black" was not only critically aclaimed but a world-wide hit, so I defitinely expect the druggie songstress to make it big this year.

- BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: The Academy loves those old guys with guitars, and his album was fairly good so I know he'll have multiple nominations and will win, but nobody will care.

- KANYE WEST: The only thing that was lacking from his part to earn Grammy voters was sympathy, and now he's got it. His album "Graduation" is marvelous and Kanye is always a favorite. He will probably earn "Album of the Year", trust me.

- CARRIE, JUSTIN, RIHANNA, MAROON 5, AVRIL LAVIGNE: They all had huge hits this year (mostly Rihanna) and fairly good albums. But what they have to go for is that they're fresh on the voters memories. So they'll be all over the Pop and R&B nominations.

- NORAH JONES: She already has like 38 Grammys and she released an album this year. So be sure they'll give her more.

I expect a few good surprises such as John Mayer being nominated, Fesit, Colbie Calliat and please GRAMMY voters.. Give us some Britney!! BLACKOUT was by far, the greatest dance pop album of the year. I will be pleased if I see "Gimme More" nominated as "Best Dance Recording" and the album as "Best Pop Album". Lets wait and see.. She has the critical acclaim, but her personal behavior always takes away from her

He really pulled it off well..

Remember Savage Garden? That one cheesy pop band from the 90s? Well, the front singer Darren Hayes is aparently still on the music business and he gave a show in New York where he sang a cover of "Gimme More" by Britney Spears. And he did it really good.. Take a look!

You want a piece of her?

Yay! Britney Spears finally got up from her cheeto/vodka Malibu pad, and got her act together to shoot a new video! Britney filmed the video for "Piece of Me" (one of the greatest songs of the album" at club Social in Hollywood this week. She pulled a 6 hour, non stop shift to finish the video, from 9:30 to 6:30 in the morning of the next day! The video was directed by Wayne Isham, who also directed her video "I'm not a girl, not yet a woman" in 2002.

The premise of the video is Britney dealing with the paparazzi that follow her while she goes to a club. Britney shot scenes of her with a lot of extras dressed as her, with a short-blonde wig, and black trenchcoats (see picture of her). I really really hope this is a great video from her. This is the last chance to make "Blackout" a success. I believe this video will be way better than "Gimme More".

It's almost Thanksgiving..

Wow, I looove this part of the year. Yesterday on my way to the Gym I started to see the christmas lights on the streets and houses getting ready for the holidays. Thanksgiving is tomorrow and it couldn't come in a better time. We're set to put out our family's christmas tree today and preparations are on the way for the dinner. Gaaawd, turkey, mash potatoes, cheese cake, I don't know what am I going to do. But putting the trivialities aside, there is a lot that I'm greatful in this wonderful year, the best year of my life, by far.

I am greatful first of all, for giving me one more year of life. For keeping my family and friends healthy, happy and alive. For giving my parents strenght to keep on doing what they do, for giving them the drive to keep working and growing and for them to do all what they do for me and my sister. I am thankful for having such an amazing sister and I am more thankful that our friendship has grown a lot during this year. I am really grateful for having met so many amazing new friends this year, my CCNMA gang, my MOH possie and all of my other old friends.

There is so many blessings that have been given to me this year. And after saying what I'm thankful for, I just want to ask one more thing to God. Please make next year even better than this year. With college coming up, I need a lot more strength. Thank you very much everybody, I love you all very deeply. Happy Thanksgiving.

Soulja STOP

Okay, I have to admit that even though I whole-heartedly hate that "Soulja Boy" song, I find it really amusing to watch all of those stupid-yet funny videos people make of the song and post it on YouTube. But seriously though, who would take time of their precious lifes to do videos like this? Or who would take the time to watch them. That's me. And don't tell me you haven't seen some of this. This are a couple of my favorites:

SPONGE BOB SINGING SOULJA BOY:

BARNEY SINGING SOULJA BOY: (Check out for the little kid singing "Crank that Soulja Boy")!!

DORA THE EXPLORER SINGING SOULJA BOY:

MUSIC REVIEW: Britney Spears "Blackout"

Britney Spears "Blackout"
Grade: A-

OK. I love Britney Spears but I am going to try to be as partial as I can with this. "Blackout" is the best album of Britney Spears' career. Ever.

After a rollercoaster of a year for her, Britney Spears comes back to do what she does best. "Blackout" is a surprisingly solid album with amazing beats and full of energy and attitude. The voice aspect of it though, is somehow under-rated. Britney's voice is blurred by synthetizer that kinda makes her sound like a robot in every single song. But that is what makes the songs of the album so great.

After the now world-wide hit "Gimme More", Britney gets to deliver even more solid tracks, such as "Radar", "Get Naked", "Why Should I be Sad?", "Freakshow" and "Toy Soldier". This last one, is a master piece. For any dance music lover, it is just like hearing the Milan Cathedral choir. It's like music to my ears. But the credit of the success of "Blackout" is not Britney's, it's mainly the producers. Danja, Bloodshy and Avant, The Neptunes, J.R Rothem and T-Pain among others.

"Blackout" has mostly received amazing reviews. "Entretainment Weekly" magazine gave it a B+, while "People Magazine" gave it 3 out of 4 stars. The Associated Press, MTV, US Weekly and the Chicago Sun-Times have also praised this album. And it is just the beggining. Barry Weiss, the president of Britney's record label, Zomba Music Label, says they have shipped around a million copies of the album just in the United States and the Editor-in-chief of Billboard Magazine expect sales of this album to be around 200-300 thousand copies on the first week, making it debut at number 1.

I don't doubt it. The critical and mass reception of "Gimme More" has been more than impressive, and has shut out many bad comments about her, shiftin the focus from her personal life to her career. Even though her personal life is going down the drain, her career still has a bit of hope. "Blackout" is such an amazing album, that it just makes me imagine how great would it be to have Britney actually doing promotion about it.

Still, this album will be a worldwide hit, despite herself. "Blackout" is on sale in parts of Latinamerica and Europe right now, and it will come out in the UK on Monday and in the US and Canada on Tuesday. You can stream it free on mtv.com, vh1.com, and logoonline.com. After you hear it, you will want to buy it. Guaranteed. BRITNEY IS BACK, BITCH.

San Diego devastated by the fires.

WOW, when I wrote the last post I didn't think it was going to get as ugly as it is. A couple of hours after I posted we had to get kicked out of the school because the air conditions were bad and there was a fire in San Ysidro, really close to my house.

So we all went home after a chaos created by alarmed parents waiting for us outside the school and then I went home to find out how bad the situation is. Me and my family have been glued to the TV waiting for the news updates about it. Every single local channel has been covering the fires non-stop. I have also called a lot of my friends that live in the East County to see If they were good.

We went to sleep with the fear that the fires might reach the part of Chula Vista where we live and we woke up we found out there was mandatory evacuation in parts of Eastlake (about 10 min. driving distance from my place), and recommended voluntary evacuation where I live. We had our stuff packed since yesterday and were only waiting to get official confirmation from Reverse 911.

Thank god, the fire in Chula Vista has just cleared out. Still, every high school in San Diego county has canceled classes for the rest of the week. The authorities are telling us to save energy and volunteer for all the affected people that lost their houses, especially in zones like Poway and Rancho San Diego. I'm going to try to volunteer tomorrow and on the weekend.

I want to thank god for letting us being safe, and for taking care of my friends and family. Thanks to all of my friends who were worried for me and were texting me throughout the whole ordeal, especially ADAM LEE and KAITLIN SCHLUTER (you guys are the bomb!). Thanks Adam for offering your house to evacuate.. Thank god we didn't have to..

PLEASE KEEP ON PRAYING BECAUSE THERE IS STILL A LOT OF PEOPLE IN NEED. HOPEFULLY TOMORROW THE CONDITIONS WILL HELP STABILIZE EVERYTHING. WE WILL PREVAIL.

Monday, October 22, 2007

Damn, we're on FIRE!

.... seriously. A tremendous fire has taken over a big part of Southern California. In Malibu it has burned several multi-million dollar mansions owned by A-list celebrities, but most of all, it has burned the Malibu Castle and part of Pepperdine University. HERE IN SAN DIEGO... it's bad.

Classes are supposed to be cancelled soon, the air is all ashy and we have a fire really close to the International border (really close to my home..), so the situation is bad. Some places around my community are being evacuated already. Hopefully the 2003 fire story won't repeat this time. Hopefully..

Let's keep on praying.

TOP 10 SONGS DANCE SONGS. EVER.

In my personal opinion... So please download this songs and play them in your next party!

1. Don't stop the music- Rihanna
(Yes, yes, yes. If you ever get to hear this song in a club, I guarantee you there will be not one person in the place who isn't dancing his ass off. Really good for working out too. Whoever produced this song is going to heaven, hehe).

2. Gimme More (Danjahandz Remix) - Britney Spears Feat. T.I
( Y'all know I love her, but lets be honest, this track is hot! I don't know why they didn't release this as the first single, they opted to release it as an official remix. People, they played twice at my assembly the other day and people went nuts. A favorite in my list.)

3. Sweet Dreams- The Eurythmics.
(An All-time classic. The beggining of the use of synthetized beats, which is now on almost every pop song out there. That song is just epic.)

4. SexyBack- Justin Timberlake.
(I know, I know.. That song is so overplayed, but it is also innovative, catchy and pretty fun to dance to. I'm kinda over the fact that Timbaland is in almost every dance song out there nowadays.)

5. Go Girl- Pitbull.
(The title says it all. The best song to freak on. Period.)

6.Can't get you out of my head- Kylie Minogue.
(Probably the first song of this new pop-electronic wave. So catchy, I once sang the "la, la,la- la, la,la,lala chorus for like a week. Non stop.)

7. Play- Jennifer Lopez.
(J-Lo is not that the top of my list, I think most of her songs are crap. But this one though is really good! Kinda like a good lounge song that you can bounce to. Get Right comes right after this.)

8.Gotta get thru this- Daniel Bedignfield.
(Remember Daniel Bedignfield? The brother of Natasha Bedignfield, hehe. Well that song was the bomb like 5 years ago for closeted-dance songs lovers like me. Wonder what happened to him....)

9. Yummy- Gwen Stefani Featuring Pharrel Williams.
( I love The Neptunes. They always come up with this crazy and refreshing beats. I don't know why the hell she hasn't released this as a single! Probably the best song of her new album. No, the best. Give it up for her...)

10. Hung Up- Madonna.
(Yup, I couldn't finish the list without the queen of dance music. She is larger than life. And this song proves everyone that no matter If you're 90 years old, you're always capable to put out an amazing dance song. Kudos!)

Now THAT was good television

Did anyone of you guys saw yesterday night's Bill O'Reilly's interview to former President of Mexico Vicente Fox Quesada? Oh...maaaahh...goood, that's what I call a match. First up we have Mr. O'Reilly who is one of the most racist journalist I've seen (Lou Dobbs and Glen Beck follow closely) and then we have the freaking ex-President of Mexico! I applaud Mr. Fox for being able to go to that program and stay cool. He was attacked from every way possible, from illegal immigration to drug trafficking, to the illiteracy on that country.

After seeing the intense interview (no way compared with the one Mr. Fox made with Larry King a day before), I have learned to respect the President of Mexico and to despise Bill O'Reilly more. I mean, O'Reilly got the guts to cut Mr. Fox's comments when he wanted to, he didn't give the president the opportunity to defend himself from everything that was happening. Take a lot yourself, the video is heating up YouTube.

Return to Normalcy

So I'm back in San Diego. After a glorious month globethroting three different countries. Wow, I'm such a jetsetter. Anyways, I got back to the core of my stuff. I called the friends again and today I came back to school. Just to find out that some special someone got herself a boyfriend while I was gone- yep, it always happens. On Sunday I'm going to my friend Adam's documentary screening at the San Diego Asian Film Festical! Wow, I'm so proud of that bastard. And I guess I'll see a couple of my CCNMA peeps, I love them. They've just smashed my MySpace profile with welcome messages and comments. Hehe, it makes me feel good.

Oh right, so coming back to the States I realize a couple of things. On an hour and a half I was working out in the Gym I saw what Britney Spears did on the weekend on three major prime time news show. Ok, that's going way too far. I also realized that even though Lauren Conrad is incredibilly gorgeous, her "reality show" is fake (I guess it took me too long to realize that), and I also realized San Diego's weather is crazy!! It was so nice down in GDL!!

Ok, so I'll write soon, or when I have something interesting to say. BYEE!

An eye opening conversation

Second post of the day? Nah, it's two in the morning now. I just came back home from a bit of clubbing and dinning with my cousins. The best part of the night though was back from some crappy bar we had dinner at Sanborn's (like an upper-class Denny's, may I say?), and I had one of the best conversations I've had in a while.

My cousin Carolina is a young 19-year-old, law student here in Mexico. She was named one of the best students in the country when she was in Elementary School and now she attends the top law school of the state. She is going to Harvard for six months in January... Freaking Harvard Law School! Like Elle Woods, hehe, but smart. Anyways, she is my pride and joy, I love her so much and I'm so proud of what she is doing. So we were talking of the political situation in Mexico and she told me something I will never forget..

She told me that people wanted her to be a politician but she wouldn't do that because she doesn't want to please people. She rules herself by her ideals and If you can prove her ideals wrong with real facts she accepts it, but she is not going to take shit from anyone, no one is ever going to try to impose an opinion to her because she is her own individual and she believes in what she is completely sure of. Then another of my cousins said this:

"Prefiero morir parado que vivir hincado por el resto de mis dias"

The translations is "I prefer to die standing than to live on my knees for the rest of my life", and you know what? It's fucking true! We're young, we have the power to change stuff! Being young and not being a revolutionary is hipocritical even by a biological standard. We're supposed to try to change things, it's our nature. The world we're living in keeps on getting worst and by the time we're adults there is not going to be chance to change it all.

That is the exact reason I want to be a journalist, to try to change things and to make a difference in my life. I don't want to just come and go from this world, I want to leave a mark, a legacy. Not only in my family but with people in general. If I could help to change someone to something better, It's like Mission Acomplished for me. Journalism gave me a reason to transcend in this life. It's my mission to make something for this fucked-up world we live in. I dare you to do something. Raise your voice, do something with your life.

Thanks Caro for giving me the push I needed. You and I are going to start the movement. Things need to change. You make me proud of being a mexican. Now go and kick ass on Harvard, I LOVE YOU!

WTF?! How did this happen?!!!

This week as you all already know, Britney Spears lost custody of her sons. She had probably the worst week of her life with tremendous amounts of bad publicity everywhere. And... unprobably by any of the music critics on the industry, she has the THIRD BIGGEST SONG IN THE COUNTRY!!

Yes. I'm a fan and even I think this is outrageous, but I'm loving it. "Gimme More" by Miss Britney Spears has reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (the overall chart of singles in the country), soaring from number 63 last week, making it the biggest jump of the week and I think one of the biggest jumps on history and defitinely of Britney's career. The song also debuted straight at number one on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs with over 179,000 downloads (still keeping her atop of the iTunes chart). Check the information here. This is the complete Top 10 on Download chart:

The Hot 100 chart will be released tomorrow and I will surely bring a copy to the blog. Now, the part that truly amazes me, "Gimme More" has the second higgest Hot 100 position for Britney since "Baby One More time" in 1999. It is assumed it will be number 1 next week. It is also the fifth song from her that reaches the Top 10 on that chart.

The "Gimme More" video will be released on Friday (on iTunes) and Monday on MTV. I promise I won't post about Britney that much but I'm super happy!!!

Guess who is laughing now?

I guess it's Britney, bitch...

After everyone in the world thought her career was over after her "horrible" comeback performance at this year's VMAs, Britney Spears and the power of her fans (including me) has proved everyone wrong.

Britney's new single "Gimme More" has reached the number 1 spot on iTunes in 12 countries worldwide! The song was released on Tuesday and by Wednesday it topped the chart on both Song and Ringtones download. According to overall digital sales on midweek, "Gimme More" has sold 124,396 copies on the U.S alone. It is expected that by next week the number will increase to 295,000 to top the record of biggest week sale on iTunes history ever! (which is now held by Fergie's 'Fergalicious'). Take that for a comeback!!

The song is now also located at number 18 on Mediabase Radio Spins chart and number 17 on Radio and Records weekly chart. This newfound buzz has gotten Britney to top the Yahoo! and MTV.com searchlist of Music Artists as well as People.com buzz list and Maxim.com just named her the "Babe of the Month". The "Gimme More" music video will be released very soon and the CD single will be out on sale Tuesday, October 9th.

Now, tomorrow is "Gimme More Worldwide Download Day", so if you haven't downloaded the song yet, do it now!

Life Update!

Hello kids! Wow, it has defitinely been a while. I am located now in what I believe is the most beautiful city the world has, Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico. This is the place I call home, the place I lived in for all my life and that I left when I was going to begin High School. This past few weeks have been really exciting but exhausting as well. From San Diego to Vegas, to San Diego again, to Chicago and then Canada, then back to Chicago, then Mexico City and now I'm here in Guadalajara. I'm going to try to resume a little all that happened on this past weeks.

Chicago was great. My family lives over there in a pretty little suburb north of Chicago called Carpentersville, IL. After doing the usual tourist trip on Downtown and going to a few eating hotspots (Gino's in Downtown, and Niko), we got to hang out with the family, including my grandma from my dad's side who is living there. Then we packed our bags, went on mapquest and got a map from Chicago to the Niagara Falls. My dad was kind of scared but we decided to go for it. So we rented a car and drove 10 hours to the beautiful city of Niagara Falls, Ontario. The falls are probably the most beatiful sights I have seen in my life. As my mom told me, "If there was any doubt that God existed, this is one more proof". It was breath-taking. We went on this ship that took us right on the middle of the Horseshoe Fall. It was pretty incredible for me to see on one side of the Falls Canada and on the other the United States. Then we went on to this beatiful walk down the river and on this underground expeditions through the falls. We also went to a butterfly observatory which I thought was lame, but my mom loved it.

After getting to know the city and the main attractions, my dad looked at the map and realized the city of Toronto was about an hour and a half driving from where we were, so we decided to go there and spend the night over there. Guys, Toronto is the shit. Walking through Downtown, you can see all of this different types of cultures, fashion, such an elegant and cosmopolitan city. A lot of young people going in an out of the innumerable nightclubs all over the city. Everything is full of lights and the people there seemed so interesting. Unfortunately I didn't get to see much, but I defitinely want to come back. After going to some hotels, we realized Toronto was probably the most expensive city we've been in so we decided to go outside the city and stayed in a pretty good hotel for the same price of a Motel 6 in Downtown.. ridiculous. The next morning we drove over back to Chicago but we stoped over in Detroit and Gary, Indiana, where Michael Jackson was born. But then.. we got lost, twice. First, on Indiana we took the wrong exit and ended up in a ghetto. So my mom asked me to ask a lady at a bus stop if she knew how to get back to the freeway and I was about to ask him and the bitch started fighting with another girl across the street. Oh my god, we were so scared, so we just left. I don't like ghettos, man. And the other one on Downtown Chicago on the way back. Guys, If you think driving on Downtown San Diego is stressful, you haven't seen anything yet.

Well, our last days in Chicago were good, a bit of shopping and bonding with my family over there, whom I barely see. My aunt Esmeralda offered me to live in Chicago with her If I decided to attend Northwestern University. I went there and is so freaking beautiful. And I know Kaitlin wants to go there, hehe. I don't know man, I will see. Maybe it will be a good option after my NYU hopes are just over. Okay, okay, so after two different flights and a ton of problems on the airport (which I don't want to remember anymore, but thanks mom for your exceptional packing abilities!!!) we arrived here. After 10 hours on two different planes I was super tied, but we went straight to my aunt Bertha's birthday party. And everybody got drunk. But I was asleep through all of that. On this days while I'm here, I've been to the pretty little town of Tequila where they shot that mexican soap opera that's so popular now, went to my other uncle's birthday party and yesterday I helped my cousin shoot a documentary. I got to use a steady cam (It's so fucking heavy!) and then last night I had dinner and movies with some cousins.

Now, I'm writing this in my house and I'm leaving soon. My dad just called. Oh right, so I miss you all and I'm kinda starting to get homesick for all this traveling. Hopefully I will see y'all when i get back ok? Love you all and peace out, bitches!!!

An Emotional Roller Coaster

This week has been crazy. From high highs to low lows.. and this is the lowest point yet. I failed Math Analysis (Pre-Cal) Class. I don't know how to tell my parents, I feel so ashamed. This had never happened to me before. And it happened on my senior year. How convenient. I'm angry because I know I didn't put the effort this class needed. I mean, it is super hard, but I know I could've handled it. I'm saddened because I didn't push myself as I needed it to. I'm ashamed because I'm about to go on a month-long vacation with my parents and I don't feel like I deserve it because I just failed a class.

I had built some kind of self-confidence as I went through all high school with really good grades. And then I fail Math! It's a big wake up call for me. I don't know If I'm being to harsh on me, but I can't tell you guys that things will change. I'm about to go to college and I can assure you all that my dreams of going to New York University are over. For one motherfucking class.

I don't feel good today. I have some explaining to do. But in the middle of all, let me wish happy birthday to three of my CCNMA buddies, Kaitlin, Jess and Annora whose birthdays are either today or tomorrow. And to my mom, whose birthday is tomorrow. I love you mom, more than anything in the world.. I hope you don't get mad at me, hehe..

Ok, so I'm leaving on Saturday and I'll make sure to write something before I leave. Peace Out.

I've never felt so proud..

So a lot of you guys have noticed and some of you might don't know, but I've lost a lot of weight these last months. Over 15 pounds to be exact. I just came home from shopping with my parents because my clothes literally don't fit me anymore. And I was shocked. From a size 38 in pants, I'm a 32 now. From a Large, sometimes extra large size on shirts, now I am Medium.

I don't think I've ever been a size 32 since I was like 12.. I feel really proud of myself. And my friends keep on telling me I look skinnier. If I did it, you can too.

I'll show you guys before and after pictures soon..

Back from Vegas, In for a Ride

Hey guys! I have just come back from Vegas.. it was really cool. I got to go to all of the hotels (The Bellagio, Caesar Palace and The Venetian being my favorites), eat some really good buffets, have fun with my family, and even managed to gamble a bit....at 18 years old. I also went to the VMA's hotel, The Palms and stayed outside, where I saw all of the limos and everything getting ready for the awards. Sadly, security was super strict and I couldn't get in. But then, I heard the chaos.

Everywhere in Vegas, everywhere.. "Did you see Britney's peformance?", "How bad was it!!".. I couldn't see it because I was in a buffet with my family, and they just couldn't care less for the VMAs, even though everyone in Vegas was talking about it. I cannot be more grateful that I was on vacation and I didn't hear, read or saw any of the bad comments her performance got. Until I come to the computer and read it all.

First of all, there is millions of rumors about what went wrong. And I just can say, I don't believe so. Maybe she was nervous, I mean, is the first time she performed in 4 years! And that first stage comes to be the opening of the first big-time musical award show of the year.. Imagine all that pressure!! I don't know.. It's to hard for me to explain it. But i just can say that is not fair that people criticize her figure.. They can criticize her performance but not her looks.. She is a mother of 2, it will never be the same.

I love Britney and I always will. No matter what. Now I just have to deal with everyone critizicing why do I love her.. It's unexplainable. But you know what? I don't give a fuck. Haha.. I don't.

Now, I have 3 days left in San Diego and then I leave to Chicago.. I have to go. I will try to post pictures of Vegas soon.. Love you all! BYE!

Britney Hits Vegas for the VMAS!

OK, so seriously, Britney Spears is the talk of the media these days after MTV confirmed she will be performing at the MTV Video Music Awards 2007. Today, at a little over 3 pm., Britney arrived to Las Vegas with her assistant Alli and her other friend to her first day of rehearsal for her "comeback" performance. There is so much at risk with this. This performance could keep the good momentum Britney is having with the early success of "Gimme More" and finally launch her career, or just ending it up once for all.

MTV.com has a sneak peek at the closed and private rehearsal that finished a couple of hours ago. It's quite interesting and it seems the performance will be really simple, but surprising as well. Read the whole review here. People Magazine is also reporting that Britney's rehearsal was great and that she will "blown everyone away". They also reported she will stay at the Palms Casino Resort (read that article here).

As all of you know, I will be in Vegas for the VMAs and I will attend the red carpet. I'm nervous, anxious but excited for Britney's performance.. I know she will pull it off.. The comeback has began. And to continue this whole "Britney VMA Mania", Billboard.com reported that after the show, MTV Ringtones will release the "Gimme More" ringtone online and one with the now famous phrase, "It's Britney bitch!". I have the ringtone already and I can't get enough. Read that article here.

It's time for the comeback, bitch!

I'M TIRED!

After the busiest day of my life (test retake before school, school, lunch with the cousin from Mexico, shopping, essay grading, work with the aunt, more essay grading, internet and after I end up typing this, homework!), I think it's time to blog a little..

So there is a lot I want to say but I don't have either the time or the will.. Soooo... Lucciano Pavarotti died, MTV confirmed Britney Spears as a performer on the VMAS, and the girl from High School Musical took a nude picture of hers and it ended up on the Internet! I saw it and I think I need to take a shower now.. So, that's all you all!!

I will blog soon hopefully with my review of the Incubus concert tomorrow ok? Take care!

Finally!

After suspending her summer tour and therefore her concert at the Sports Arena here in San Diego, Kelly Clarkson has announced a new fall concert tour with a new date her in SD! It's on November 16th at the Civic Center. I'm so there. One of my dreams will be to listen to Kelly sing "Sober" (by far my favorite song of the year) live, and acustic. Thanks Kelly, thank you so much.

A full of "labor" weekend

So much for "Labor Weekend". Hanging out with the family on Friday, doing a shitload of homework on Saturday, movies and dinner with Kaitlin and Adam on Sunday and an useless trip to Tijuana and helping my cousin move to another house today... It was clearly the busiest weekend in a while.. And life just gets crazier for me now. This week my cousin comes from Mexico for a couple of days before leaving to Vancouver, Canada for six months! Wow.. that's amazing, I wanna do that! And then I get work on Tuesday and I go help my aunt on her job on Thursday. I have my english speech that day and then I have to turn in early all of my work of Monday and Tuesday of next week. Then Friday we have my cousin's farewell party at that new club in TJ, Zokalo. And then on Saturday I have the Incubus Concert with Briana and Sunday I leave to Vegas.

Then, I come back and have 3 grueling days of finals and then my mom's birthday on Friday and we leave for a month on Saturday. I'm not going to be in San Diego till' October 6th. So now I'm just trying to soak everything in. Because I may have to study for the SAT while I'm on vacation.. gosh... I love this craziness.

Today I was in TJ and this guy came to ask for money and told us he had been deported from the US and that he was hurt with a wire trap on his arm while trying to run away from immigration officers.. He had this huge cut and it smelled so bad, it was so sad. Some people criticize the immigrants but they don't realize that in order for this people to do something as dangerous as cross the border illegally they must be desperate. Desperate for a better life and better opportunities.. And they deserve an opportunity.

This type of situations make me think about those people. And I, as a young man, can change the situation for them. And I will try to make it. So long for this injustices, so long..

November 13th. 2007- The comeback begins..

Okay guys I promise this will be the last time I will post something of Britney.. at least until the VMA's or until something big happens. But it's inevitable for me not to do it. Jive Records had just confirmed Britney's new album will be released on.. mark your calendars.. NOVEMBER 13th. 2007. People Magazine and Billboard.com just reported it. As for the single, it has been out for less than 24 hours and it's number 86 on mediabase already. It's all over the radio. I've heard it 9 times yesterday on Channel 93.3.

The NY Daily News has reported more details on Britney's performance. And all of the reviews of "Gimme More" has been great until now. Just check "Blender" Magazine's review here. Britney is set to perform today at the LAX Club opening in Las Vegas. She was spotted rehearsing for her VMA performance yesterday at a dance studio in L.A. ... Oh she is also on number 6 on Z100 music chart in NYC. And she just made the top 9 of Jojo's in Kiis Fm in Los Angeles... in one day... Bet who's back?

Thursday, August 30, 2007

It's Britney bitch!

Yes, yes.. A world of yes! The day has come... Britney Spears' new single "Gimme More" has been released! The song has leaked in the internet and let me tell ya something. She is back. Britney.com has updated the website promoting the single of the princess of pop which is set to debut on radio next week. Just today MTV's show, Total Request Live confirmed Britney will perform the single tomorrow at the opening of the club LAX in Las Vegas, which she is hosting. That sums to her performance at the VMA's next month. Yes haters, She is back!!

The song is hot! Is just an amazing dance track. I'm a rock guy, with a kind of emo musical taste, but this is amazing! Download the song on ubritney.com, or stream the song on breatheheavy.com, perezhilton, popsugar, and tob.com. Also, as if this weren't good enough, another track has been released, "Cold as fire" which is even better... racy, sexy, just hot!

Here are the lyrics of "Gimme More":

It's Britney Bitch!
I see you
And I just wanna dance with you

Everytime they turn the lights down
Just wanna go that extra mile for you (you you)
Public display of affection
Feel's like no one else in the room

We can get down like there's no one around
We'll keep on rockin' (keep on rockin')
We'll keep on rockin' (keep on rockin')
Cameras are flashing my way
Dirty dancing
They keep watchin' (they keep watchin')
Keep watching

Feel's like the crowd is saying
Gimmie Gimmie More (...)

Center of attention (even)
Even when they're up against the wall
You got me in a crazy position
Flat on a mission
You got my permission

We can get down like there's no one around
We'll keep on rockin' (keep on rockin')
We'll keep on rockin' (rockin')
Cameras are flashing my way
Dirty dancing
They keep watchin' (they keep watchin')
Keep watching

Feel's like the crowd is saying
Gimmie Gimmie More (...)

I just can't, control myself
More, they want more
Well I'll give them more

Gimmie Gimmie More (...)

Gimmie Gimmie More (...)

Danja:

Bet you didn't see this one coming
The incredible lygo
The legendary Miss Britney Sears
The unstoppable Danja
You gonna have to remove me Cause I ain't goin' no where.

Weird stuff

A lot of weird stuff has been happening lately. I was shocked to learn that Owen Wilson, the actor from the movies "Wedding Crashers" and "You, Me and Dupree" had attempted suicide, sliced both his wrists and took a big amount of pills to kill himself. He seemed to have a happy life.. successful career, good physique and HOT girlfriend (Kate Hudson), but he tried to take his own life.. wow.. that goes to show that we all have problems, superstars or not.

Today when I came back from school there was a police helicopter going around the place and the police was shouting all over that they were looking for a fugitive. Around 30-years, caucasian, with blue jeans and white shirt. OMG, I was scared to death... I really want to move the hell out of here. I live in a nice area but I'm over the insecurity in this place.

But not all is bad news, Entertainment Weekly Online and Billboard.com had just confirmed that Britney Spears' new single "Gimme More" will hit the airwaves as early as next week. The track has been produced by Danja (who also produced that annoying new song from Paula de Anda), and it's supposed to be a "club banger". See the info here. Also, new reports have been published leaking info on her VMA's performance. Her dancer says she will perform a medley of her single and a ballad called "Cry". She will appear in a "game of mirrors that make her appear and disappear" with the help of Criss Angel (!!). Her dancers will dance and perform stunts in the air and then the bridge of "Gimme More" will appear with a little "reggaeton" solo with Britney and another dancer.. Woww..I am more and more excited every day. Check more info on BritneyExperts.com

Weekend Update

Hi guys! This weekend sucks. I'm sick, I have the flu with this hot weather.. why do this happen to me?? I was suppose to go out on Saturday but I didn't, I also was going to hang out with Schluter on Sunday but I'm not feeling good at all. And I have a shitload of homework to do. Oh well... yesterday I saw this two amazing documentaries on TV. One was called "God Warriors" on CNN, about that post I wrote earlier in the week, and the other one was of the Princess Diana on Fox News.. they're pretty good you should go watch it.

I don't have anything interesting to write about... oh but I'm buying my tickets for the Incubus concert on Wednesday. I'm going with my friend Briana. This will be my seventh concert this year. In 2007 I've seen Justin Timberlake and Pink, Stranger, Gwen Stefani with Akon, Daphne loves Derby (without Daphne Loves Derby, just a bunch of crappy bands), Paulina Rubio, Peter Bjorn and John and now Incubus with the Bravery. It's going to be so much fun!

I also checked the prices for the VMA tickets.. I'm going to be in Vegas that day... and OMG. They are 3,450 dollars for the cheapest one and 9,000 dollars for the closest to the stage.. HEEEELLSS NOOO!! I can't afford that. So me and my sister and my cousins are just going to go and stand in the red carpet to see all the celebrities... hehee, at least. So, I'll update with my vacation ventures in two weeks.. Peace out!

The End of an Era

The Miami Herald is reporting there's rumors circulating that Cuban "president" Fidel Castro has died. There has been rumors of it for months now. People are happy for this news but they don't realize Fidel has people that are bound to keep communism after his death, like his son, and now more with the President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez.

Communism will not end, but hopefully, Castro's death will bring a bit of hope for Cubans and Cuban-Americans for a free land once for all. The news should be confirmed shortly.

Sneak peek at the Comeback?

Hi guys! Sorry it took a few days to post but I've been super busy with school and everything else. Today someone from Britney Spears' camp has "leaked" a song from her upcoming fifth studio album. Us, her fans (Am I the only one left?) have been expecting this for over 3 years now. And most of us expected a bomb, a up-tempo song with killer beats and a new sound.. a la Toxic times 10.. but she surprised us, with a slow tempo ballad with rather depressing lyrics called "Baby Boy".

Go to Breathe Heavy.com to hear the song and read the lyrics.. My opinion? She sounds better than ever, it seems that she really feels what she is singing. It also seems like she wrote the lyrics because it clearly talks about her failed marriage. But.. she has an awful talking speech in the middle of the song when she talks of... grocerie shopping? Naaahh.. Brit you can do better that. Hope she can surprise us at the VMA's!

Stop the bullshit

Reading stories like this just make me so mad.. People are not defined by what they are, look or believe in. I may joke about it in the blog but the truth is that prejudging people by their looks is maybe one of the most despicable things in this world. I have a Muslim friend and she is a sweetheart and I believe Muslims shouldn't be called "terrorists". Think before you act or say something... Karma is a bitch.

On the other side, Hurricane Dean... It's going through Mexico and I please ask everyone to pray for those people. Most of the population in Central America and South Mexico are extremely underprivileged and sadly, they are always the ones that suffer the most. Hopefully nothing "bad" will happen and remember, we live in a first world country and should help the needed. My family and I are going to give a bunch of clothes for the people in Peru that had a tremendous earthquake last week... Go and help in the American Red Cross now.

Wow...

I don't like to double post in one day but this is so worth it. Kelly Clarkson is such an amazing singer and I just love this song.. Too bad she cancelled her San Diego show, I can't wait to see her live. Enjoy everybody!

High School Perfection

High School Musical 2 was one of the most watched shows in cable TV history. WHAT?! I, since the first moment hated that movie. I hated it because my five year old niece, who is still not capable to say a well-structured and coherent sentence couldn't stop saying "High School Musical 2 premieres this Friday at 8 in Disney Channel!", yeah i know... too much TV for her.

So then of course I didn't watch it on Friday (I have a life..) but I did get to watch it yesterday night.. And oh my god was it a riot. This la-la land, where everybody is happy and cute and they tend to explode in complete choreographed musical numbers in the middle of a kitchen is not for me. Yes, maybe I'm a bitter 18-year-old, but here is what I just couldn't handle of it.

1.Zac Efron: Is he a girl?? He looks like it! I mean the guy has the most perfect face structure, and the flowy hair and the expressions. I'm annoyed by him. I mean, he is everywhere. In the cover of Rolling Stone, in every single talk show out there, and I think he is dating that Gabriella girl... oh she looks like a furby too... (Remember Furbies?)

2. That one guy, Sharpay's brother... He wears all pink, all day and loves musical theater... and supposedly he is straight... Riiiight!!

3. Cheese Factor: Oh my god that was the cheesiest movie ever! I seriously wanted to scream at the screen after like the 5th. time Troy and Gabriella wanted to kiss but were interrupted by someone or something.. they finally kissed at the end, and they had fireworks.... exactly.

4. Hannah Montana Cameo: If I hate something more than the HSM2 kids is that Hannah Montana kid! Oh gosh she is so cute... too cute for me to bear it.. And she is for like 5 seconds at the end of the movie.

Oh well.. call me a bitter bastard with no heart but I don't like that movie. I don't know If you realized that before. And I guess this is not going to finish anytime soon. Disney Channel is cashing in with those kids and I guess we can expect to see "College Musical", "Marriage Musical", and the way Hollywood is going lately, "Rehab Musical 2"

THANK YOU

Hi guys! So today I just wanted to thank you for reading this blog! I started this as a hobby but actually there is people reading it! Thanks for everything.

This weekend has been pretty chill... La Jolla and PB on Friday with the cousin and her boyfriend, chilling with the friend on Saturday and barbeque with the family right now.. Oh yes, I'm such an anti-social. But the highlight of all was my encounter with the I-Phone!! OMG that shit can do everything! It's so cool.. my friend bought it and let me tell ya, is worth every penny of it.

But not everything is cool. I just realized i'm not going to be in San Diego when Street Scene comes. I'm so bummed!! It was destined to be great. Jaguares, Kinky, Augustana, Slightly Stoopid!!!! Oh well.. there's always 08.

And speaking of 08.. I think I'm moving to La Mesa or somewhere near North County in December... in the middle of senior year... yup... I'm all about timing.

Things that make you say WHAT?!

I feel better today. Thanks to everyone that helped me... Today as I was in school I started to write every thing that made ME say WHAT?! during the day, here it goes..

- Lip plump: Why do women want to plump their lips!! And some girl in math class used it and now she looks like a fish! Gosh, women are never happy with their appearance..

- Facebook: I just don't get it! How come you can poke people and send them drinks!! I just don't know how to use it.. I like MySpace better...

-Showoffs: So there is this guy in the gym I go to that never does anything! He is super ripped, model-like, and he just goes out there and struts his stuff around the gym, like saying "Oh look at me, I'm so hot".. Gosh I hate those people.. Why don't you just go to the gym and work out like all of us??

- Trigonometry: Test. Tomorrow. I'm sooo failing.

- VMA's 07!!!!- September 9th in Vegas.. Same weekend i'm going to LV with my parents. Vegas + VMAS + Me= FUN!!!.. And more with the Britney Spears rumors of her performance at the awards... I can't wait!!!

Separation anxiety

This is the first time I write two blogs in one day but I need to get this off my chest. Today I went to my friend Jose's worship night at his church. It was such a moving night where I realized that I haven't been the best catholic and the best man and that I need to step up my game and do more for others and less for my selfish needs.

Right now I am feeling a tremendous separation anxiety. It's not even funny. First, my cousin, which is more like a sister to me, went back to Mexico. She left a huge gap in my life and things are not the same without her. She was like my sidekick, my confident and now there is no one who I can actually talk whenever I want of whatever I want. Then, a couple of my best friends are leaving to college this week. And I know that things are never going to be the same.

It is too much to soon. Now i truly need my friends and family to be there for me. Sometimes when I feel lonely, I start to feel depressed. Maybe I should focus on the good things instead of this... But is hard. Comments will be greatly appreciated in here. Much Love and God Bless you All.

Queen of Photoshop

With all the controversy surrounding Britney Spears this days, if there is anyone that she should be grateful is the creator of Photoshop that helped her look this good in her Allure Magazine cover and the ad for her new campaign "Believe". Who said fake beauty was bad??
Two different hair colors, two personalities... yeah i love this bitch

Stupid stuff

So many stupid stuff is happening lately... oh my gosh i can barely handle it. First, 50 Cent announced that he is not going to release any more solo albums if his album "Curtis" was succeded in sales by Kanye West's "Graduation". Both albums are released the same day, September 11th.... Hahahaa, how stupid can he be to say that! But maybe he is just playing with our minds and this is just a great PR movement to boost record sales that day!! And maybe it will happen becuase his single "Ayo Technology" with Justin Timberlake is really good, impressively good may I say.

The L.A Galaxy.. oh gosh. They paid gazillions of dollars to have David Beckham, and he hasn't played any game at all!! He had some injury in his ankle.. but wtf, he is wasting American money!! Get your ass up and play, stop hanging around with you celebrity friends and incredibly skinny wife and do what you know how to do!!!

Oh well, I love stupidness.. I am stupid too. That's whyI love this next story. Birth control for pigeons... oh my god. I know there is a lot of them in Downtown but come on!! How are they going to do that??!!! Are they going to create mini condoms for pigeons??!! I don't even think pigeons have penises!!!!

Oh well.. I may just be a bit irritated.. It will go away.

A collapsing world

Doesn't it seems that everything is collapsing nowadays?? The bridge in Minneapolis, the mine in Ohio, and our economy each day. Is our world a safe place where we can have the freedom to have healthy and happy children and leave them to enjoy the wonderful world we have gotten to enjoy?

We have to take care of our world, there is so many different ways we can help, we just have to be serious about it and it's not even that much. Just turn off the lights when you're not using them, save water, recycle!! I have learned to recycle since I met a wonderful friend this summer who was even capable to look into the trash cans to get recyclable items. Now I save each aluminum can, piece of glass or whatever I see... of course I'm not that generous and I go and sell them.. hey, it's easy money! But still, it's in our hands to put a little bit of our will to try to change this mess of a world we have come into.

I hope this words can help you to set your mind into bigger and better things in the near future... We're the future and we are the ones that will have to deal with the consecuences of the actions of people right now. And I want my world to be better for me and my children. So don't fuck it up for me.

What happened to our music?

It's 2:41 pm. and I'm listening to my MySpace profile song, "Sober" by Kelly Clarkson. Gosh, she is so freaking talented! Her new album, "My December" is such a great material and it literally tanked in the music charts. And that makes me wonder what has the music industry made with our good artists?

Yesterday the nomination for the MTV Video Music Awards were announced, and of course Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Rihanna, Nelly Furtado, Fergie and all of those folks got tons of nominations.. It seems that you only need to have catchy hook to become a multi platinum-selling artist. "Umbrella, ella, ella, e, e,e", "To the left, to the left", "I'm bringing the sexy back", and of course the super famous and incredibily annoying "G - L - A - M - O -R -O - U-S" of Fergie's song.

Please lets forget for a second the "Lean like a Cholo" and focus on some great music for me right now:

Peter, Bjorn and John: My favorite band in ages!! You may have heard the song "Young Folks", literally everywhere, but seriously, the whole "Writer's Block" album is amazing. I had the wonderful opportunity to see them in concert at the House of Blues in Downtown last week and it was clearly one of the highlights of my summer. They're the epitome of what rock stars should be, and their John is a tremendous guitar player!! Please check their songs out!

Augustana: I first heard the song "Boston" a while ago and later I found it again in my friend Jose's MySpace, and since then I've been a fan of them.. All of their album it's so great and I think I'm going to go see them at Street Scene next month. I can't wait!!

Other really good stuff right now: Plain White T-Shirts, Regina Spektor, Incubus' latest album, mexican electro-pop band Belanova and... the return of Soda Stereo!!! A hugely popular band from Argentina that is getting back together for a mini tour, they'll be in LA soon.. I'm going to see what I can do about it...

Aye, enough with my ramblings, read ya guys later!

Un-Democracy

Aye... so there is elections in TJ. Do they have a democracy there?? wow.. news to me. So this guy Jose Guadalupe Millan won, and finally Hank was defeated. Yes! I heard he is awful and had connections with drug trafficking.. Naaaah, TJ and drug trafficking?!!!! But yes, hopefully this will be the beginning of goods things to come for this city.. which i love... to party in!!!!

In more fun stuff.. STREET SCENE 07 IS COMING TO COORS AMPHITHEATER!! Yaaaaay... finally is closer to me. But all those North County people are outraged cause it's too far. Naaah, they're scared to come to Chula-juana, that's what's up! Don't worry you guys! Nothing is going to happen in CV and its mexicanicity, but if you don't wanna come, cool.. more space for us.

Oh gooshh, I love my dose of "trainwreck spears" mania. So Britney Spears hired Kelly Clarkson's old manager Jeff Kwatinez and is supposed to get her dying career back to life.. And i mean, he is the guy that made Kelly's "Since U been Gone" fame, so I guess he can handle her. BUUT.. she is dumb as a rock and she keeps screwing any good chances she gets. Like storming out of another photoshoot now for Allure Magazine.. biiitch!!! that was good PR!!! oooh god bless her soul..

Let's get this party started!

Everyone seems to have blogs nowadays. And I, I am an unoriginal human being with a craving for attention, a walking contradiction that cannot even understand himself. That's why I got my own blog! My name is Antonio Martinez, I am 18 years old and I live in San Diego, California.

I am a journalist, at least I think that of myself. I write in my school newspaper and in a mexican magazine that my cousin runs in Guadalajara, MX. one of the greatest cities in the world. Still, I have the urge to keep on writing and expressing myself. That's why I got this blog! To talk of all the randomness of my life and the world overall. So buckle down everybody!!

P.S: Yeah that's me in all my weirdness..
